The Importance of Consistency
Consistency is one of the most important things to keep in mind when you are considering blogging part-time. No matter what niche or subject you are blogging on, you’ll want to blog consistently. Blog consistently so that your readers will know what to expect from you. By remaining consistent, you can allow your readers to trust that they will always see the same quality of content from your blog.
Motivating Yourself
Although consistency may sound like a great idea, it can be difficult for some people to maintain this commitment. Blogging part-time may require you to blog less often than you would with a full-time blog. If this is something that you find difficult, then it may take some motivation on your part to keep blogging at least once every two weeks.
How to Blog Part-Time
If you are interested in blogging part-time, I’ve got some suggestions for doing so. The first thing you’ll want to do is start by identifying what kind of blog will best suit your needs (if any). While blogging is excellent for any business or personal website, sometimes the best thing you can do is have a simple blog instead.
Blogging with WordPress web host that most people use for their websites is called WordPress. What makes it so popular is the fact that it’s so user-friendly. Blogging with WordPress means that you’ll be able to personalize your website and blog however you like. You can insert photos, use different styles of fonts, and even change the background color around your posts. One of the most exciting parts about WordPress is that it’s free to use, and that means all you have to do is signup for a free account on a site called WordPress.com, and you’ll be able to begin blogging immediately.
How to Write on a Part-time Basis
Once you have chosen a topic and a website, the next thing to write blog posts about it, the great thing about blogging this way is that you will have plenty of time to think about what you would like to share with your readers. As long as you keep a running list of ideas, you’ll quickly find topics that your readers want to hear more about.
Use AI to support you with writing. When you are too busy to write consistently, you can use AI tools to do so. To get started, simply head over to Jarvis and begin writing by typing your message into the box. From there, the program will generate random sentences related to your blog post. All you have to do is proofread the penalties if they need some improvements.
How to Build a Following While Working a Day Job
You don’t have to choose between writing your blog posts and having a job, and some people can do both. If you are one of them, you can focus on building your blog following while still having time to work on other things simultaneously. To do this effectively, you must take advantage of any networking opportunities that you can find.
Follower Growth
- Start by subscribing to the Facebook groups relevant to your work (or hobby).
- Join any LinkedIn groups where you are likely to find others with similar interests to yours.
- Join local tech meetups held in your area.
- Start networking with people you know or who may know of others who are interested in tech startups or tech industry-related things.

You'll want to have an exciting niche blog name and theme
It's also essential to make sure your blog looks good. If you aren't sure how to do this, there are many guides out there on WordPress, the software most blogs use.
How to Choose a Niche
If you aren’t sure what kind of niche you’d like to write about, choose a broad topic that is interesting and easily researchable with Google and Wikipedia. The world is full of exciting topics, and it’s probably best to start with a vast and diverse subject. Once you find something you like, decide if there are any technical aspects involved in it. If not, then choose a topic that requires technology within it.

How to Find Topics
To find the topics that will work for your blog, you should always search online for other blogs that write about related topics. If you find other blog posts similar to what you want to write about, then visit their websites and read them carefully. Take notes of what you like and don't like about the topic. After taking notes, continue searching for other blogs on your subject until you have a list of issues that seem interesting.
Social media is all about engagement, so try to respond best when people comment on your posts or answer their questions when they reach out to you privately.
When creating content, I’ve found it essential to provide something that others will find valuable. Although many different types of people will read your blog, you can be sure that they all have one thing in common—they want to learn something new. It takes time to create engaging content, but creating exciting content helps you grow your audience and credibility.
10/20/30 Rule: The Key to Better Marketing
The rule is a simple calculation that can help you plan your digital marketing strategy but doesn't worry if math isn't your strong suit as I break down each step below.
1. Why you should use apps like Hootsuite or Buffer
These apps work wonders to help you schedule posts. It’s also an excellent way for you to keep track of what you’ve already posted and what you haven’t. Hootsuite and Buffer provide analytics that will show you how your content is performing.
You can even see how many people view your blog, click on links within the blog, and how many people share your content.
2. 30 Minutes Can Make You More Successful
The 10/20/30 rule will help you create a blogging workflow. Finding consistency will help blog production, which in turn will grow your audience. It also enables you to keep track of your time to create content.
Hootsuite and Buffer are just two of many apps that can help you manage your social media. They also help promote your company, raise your profile, and create urgency when posting new content. Outlook gives you access to your email when posting links in blog comments or social media. These apps help you grow visibility with the community, respond more effectively to customers, and post more regularly.
Posting relevant photos and graphics will also help others notice your page more.
8 reasons why you should use graphics on your Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest posts
Graphics are an element that can be used to capture attention, but they are also beneficial for social media pages. Graphics are visual, short, and attention-getting, and they’re easy to share on social networks and lead to engagement with your brand.
Using images can effectively spread content quickly, but they should not be used excessively or as filler content. Images can effectively distribute content quickly; however, overuse may make the content seem less relevant to viewers' interests and reduce viewer engagement.
1. Those that link to your blog or website. These graphics will show people what they can expect on your blog or website. These graphics are usually short-form content, but they can be long-form if the blog post is interesting enough.
2. Those that are designed to capture attention in some way. These graphics are usually in the form of memes or infographics, but that's not always the case. What is most important is that they're interesting despite their simplicity.
3. Those that display real-time activity on your social media accounts or your websites, such as follower counts and site statistics. If you are creating graphics for your blog by yourself, it is essential to be careful about copyright issues. Protecting your copyright will make it easier to grow your following and expand your reach.
How to Make Time for Blogging
You’ll want to make time to create blog posts and write for your blog. You should always plan on creating content, even if you don’t have any ideas.
Use the next few tips to make sure you create and post at least one piece of content a week:
- Schedule posts in advance if possible by checking out what other people are posting and putting something else aside that is similar
- Make a checklist to help you be sure that you do everything
- Write a blog post at least once a week. You can even create a habit by setting the alarm on your phone to go off every day for five minutes
- Stay consistent and write until you have completed at least one blog post every week
- Don't overwhelm with too many projects at once if possible; it's better to take it slow with consistent effort
- Work on it even when you don’t feel like doing it.
Tips and Frequently Asked Questions
The following are tips and frequently asked questions.
1. All of these examples are based on the idea that you only post three types of content: short and long-form articles and infographics.
1) There are three types of content formats on the internet: short-form articles, long-form articles, and infographics.
2) In a study conducted by Google, it was shown that Facebook users spend the most time reading long-form content, while Twitter users spend the most time reading short-form content.
3) The average article on the internet is approximately 2,300 words long.
4) Infographics are a little different from both articles and infographics in that they can be created in a variety of formats. Examples of infographics include Venn diagrams, timelines, error bars, and statistical graphs.
5) Instagram's most popular hashtags are #longform, #photo, and #foodie.
7. These numbers are compounded by about 50% due to Google's Penguin Update.
1) In the Distilled case study I'll be referencing, they give a fairly conservative estimate that 1% of your traffic will need to be paid for in order to rank better. This means that if you have 1,000 visitors a day, you should have at least 10 unique visitors a day who click on your ads.
3) With the news that Yahoo is introducing ad-blocking on their browser, this number could easily go up.
4) If Google goes completely ad-free, the number goes up even more.
8. With a well-optimized site, the traffic will still come from organic search traffic and paid advertising.
1) In a Google Webmaster Central Survey, they found that the most critical aspect of a site's success is its content. On average, they found that 20% of the traffic from the search results comes from links from other sites on content sites. This means that if your site is somewhat successful, you should make sure you have something interesting to talk about.
5) The average website gets about 1/3 of its traffic from organic search.
How do bloggers get paid?
Many bloggers rely on Google AdSense to make money. However, this is the easiest way to make money only if you have a high-traffic website. If you are comfortable with code, there are several other options for monetization available.
1. Affiliate marketing – this involves promoting products and services on your blog, making commissions when people purchase the products or services
2. Product review marketplace – this involves writing reviews about specific products in exchange for product or payment
3. Article directory site – this involves writing articles about specific topics that are then sold on a directory
4. Make money from YouTube – you can earn money from hosting videos on your website and monetizing the “ad revenue” from them
5. Try Amazon affiliate links, or if you have a blog on Amazon or an e-commerce store, you can also use Amazon Associates to earn money from your website traffic
6. Create an ebook to put on your website or sell online
7. If you are creating content to be used by other businesses who are willing to pay you for it, make sure the copyright is in your name
8. Create a service that will help other bloggers grow their websites and then offer that service on your blog

Conclusion
Some people have a knack for getting things done. Even if that means only doing part of it. Others, unfortunately, have a natural tendency to procrastinate and drift from one task to another. Although this attitude will never make you a millionaire, it may help you to achieve some of the other benefits of blogging, such as building your network and having fun along the way.
